Hi, I’m Lezlie, glad you’re here! I primarily paint abstract florals, while remaining open to whatever else might emerge. One look and you’ll see that I’m drawn to big color—bright, vivid, bold. I usually start with that and just go. Rarely a preconceived plan. Just paint, instinct, and seeing what happens next. Some pieces stay playful, some pick up a little weight as they go. I don’t try to force either one. If it’s honest and it feels alive, I trust the brush to lead the way.

THE PETAL PUNK COLLECTION

This latest group of florals is a bit of a shift for me. They’re more saturated, more textured, and a little rough around the edges—in a good way. There’s a funkiness to them, and a slightly grungy feel. I had a lot of fun making these, and I’m excited to finally put them out into the world.
