I've never been accused of using too little color.

Most days you'll find me creating florals. Other days the flowers step aside and the abstracts or still lifes take over. I like paint with some muscle behind it, color that doesn't whisper, and texture that begs to be touched! Some of my work is simply joyful. Some of it wanders into recovery, healing, or social justice. I don't really separate those things. Life has all of them, so my paintings do too.

Life's too short for beige walls and boring art! Thanks for being here!

Hey there!

I'm a painter, gardener, color junkie, and someone who never met a flower I didn’t want to smell!

That started early. I grew up in eastern North Carolina, loving art and planting flower beds whenever and wherever someone would let me. At eight years old, I went door to door selling Burpee seeds so I could buy…more flowers. Apparently I've always committed to a theme.

Since then life has taken me from North Carolina to Alaska, Hawaiʻi and back again. I've been a contractor, teacher, gallery owner, and a few other things along the way. In 2025, I found my way back home to the South. Painting has carried me through some hard seasons, but these days it's also where I find joy, curiosity, and an excuse to get paint all over my hands.
